What to Expect with the 9th Season of the PKL

Excitement is at a new-time high with the new PKL season. After the changes that have occurred due to the pandemic, several new things are coming this year. For one thing, fans can finally watch the games live after a 3-year wait. Not only this, but they can also see all twelve teams on the first two days of the game.

This scenario is made possible through the implementation of triple headers. Triple headers were only implemented last year but became a hit among fans. Known as "triple panga," it will happening on Fridays and weekends. For the first triple headers on October 7, fans can see defending champions Daband Delhi taking on U Mumbai, Bengaluru Bulls against the Telugu Titans, and more. On the second day of the league, fans can see the remaining six teams play their first match.

In addition to an open stadium and triple headers, this will be the first time that the PKL will take place in three cities for the first time history. The PKL matches will take place in Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad in three different phases, the first phase being in Bengaluru. To top everything, there will be no bio dome or caravan format for the games. You'll find plenty to look forward to with the ninth season of the Pro Kabaddi League.
