Shikhar Dhawan, a well-known India cricketer, has been making headlines recently, but not just for his performances on the field. A video allegedly leaked online has been making rounds on social media, in which the 37-year-old was seen talking about his love life.
Dhawan revealed that he had met someone new at a farmhouse party and that they hit it off immediately. However, it is currently unclear whether the video is real or part of a media campaign.
Some fans believe that it could be either satire or an advertisement, which appears to be a more reasonable explanation.
Dhawan has always been in the public eye, especially regarding his personal life.
Dhawan's first wife, Ayesha, announced their separation in 2020, and their divorce case is still ongoing. In the latest game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings' batting line-up struggled against the bowling attack of Hyderabad, but Dhawan played a captain's knock, scoring an unbeaten 99 runs.
Although the knock was in vain, Dhawan's form could be crucial for Punjab Kings in the upcoming matches.
Dhawan's Opinion on the Latest Match
After the match, Dhawan expressed disappointment with the batting unit’s performance. He blamed the misfiring batting unit for their 7-wicket loss to the Hyderabad-based franchise.
"As a batting unit, we lost too many wickets back to back and couldn't put up a big total on the ground, and because of that, we lost the game. 175-180 would have been a reasonable score," he said.
However, Dhawan is grateful for his 99-run score and believes that it is a learning process for the batting unit. He is happy with his performance and has been showing excellent form in the tournament.

PBKS has won two out of three matches so far, thanks in part to Dhawan’s leadership and impressive batting. The PBKS's next match will be against the Gujarat Titans on April 13. So far, the Titans have won two out of three matches as well.
