Son Heung-Min's Photoshoot Goes Viral

Football fans were recently treated to a sizzling display from Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min as he posed for a steamy photoshoot for Calvin Klein underwear. The 30-year-old striker put his lackluster season behind him, showcasing his chiseled physique and drawing over a million likes within hours of the shoot.
Response to the Photoshoot
Fans were quick to gush over Son's toned torso in a range of poses. However, the South Korean star's Tottenham teammates couldn't resist poking fun at him.
Tottenham's center-back Cristian Romero playfully claimed that Son's photos were entirely photoshopped, while Pedro Porro, the club's new signing, reacted with a series of 'ice-cold' emojis.
Son's fellow South Korean teammate Hwang Hee-Chan was ecstatic, using the 'dollar signs for eyes' emoji in response to the sizzling snaps. Tottenham's on-loan full-back, Sergio Reguilon, was left in awe and speechless, as he simply wrote "no words..." on social media.
Despite the light-hearted banter, fans hope that Son will bring his red-hot form back to the pitch. The joint-winner of last season's Golden Boot has only scored five goals from 23 appearances this season, leading to him being benched in recent games.
Son Heung-min's Relationship with Calvin Klein
In August 2022 Calvin Klein revealed that Son Heung-min, the South Korean football superstar, has become its newest brand ambassador for Calvin Klein Underwear. Son will join BLACKPINK's Jennie as a fellow South Korean ambassador for the brand in an exclusive new campaign featuring the Fall ’22 collection.
Son expressed his excitement about the partnership in a statement, saying, “As a longtime fan of the brand, I’m thrilled to be representing Calvin Klein Underwear in my home country. Calvin Klein products have had a special place in my wardrobe for years, so our partnership is a natural fit. Like so many people around the world, I am constantly inspired by the brand’s iconic campaigns, so to be the face of one is both exciting and surreal.”
The player was set to represent the Embossed Icon style made with recycled materials, which was a part of the brand's commitment to sustainable textiles that did not compromise on comfort.
Son is the latest in a long line of footballers to have represented Calvin Klein, following in the footsteps of England legend David Beckham and Sweden icon Freddie Ljungberg.
Other Brand Partnerships
Calvin Klein is not the only brand that the player has a connection to. In June of last year, Tottenham Hotspur striker Son Heung-min began his role as a global ambassador for Burberry.
The South Korean expressed his pride in partnering with a brand that has a rich British heritage, saying, "Being an athlete from the Premier League, it’s my honor to partner with a brand so rich in British heritage. I love Burberry’s strive for imagination and innovation which has been deeply inherited in its history, which are values that I champion.”
In addition to his partnership with Burberry, Son has also modeled for Ralph Lauren. There is speculation that he may pursue a career in the fashion industry once he retires from football.
