Son Heung-min Declares He's Still Set for the World Cup

In Tottenham's 2-1 UCL win over Marseille last week, South Korean star Son Heung-min sustained an injury which caused doubts over his availability to play in the World Cup. The South Korea captain had to undergo a surgery on an eye socket fracture but recently released a social media post to reassure fans.
Son posted on his Instagram assuring fans that he will be at the World Cup "I have read so many of your message and truly, truly appreciate you all. In a tough time I received a lot of strength from you! Playing for your country at the World Cup is the dream of so many children growing up, just as it was one of mine too. I won’t miss this for the world.”
South Korea would need their talisman fully fit as they will try to navigate through a tough group which includes Uruguay, Ghana and Portugal. According to reports, the player should be back to full fitness before South Korea’s World Cup opener on November 24.
