The Indian cricket team, currently on a tour of the West Indies, had the incredible opportunity to meet the legendary Sir Garfield Sobers during their visit to Barbados. This meeting allowed the Indian players to interact with one of the greatest cricketers of all time and gain inspiration from his remarkable achievements. Led by captain Rohit Sharma, the Indian team is scheduled to participate in two Tests, commencing on July 12 in Dominica and Port of Spain. Following the Test series, the team will engage in three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against the West Indies.


The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a heartwarming video of the Indian cricket team's meeting with Sir Garfield Sobers, expressing their reverence for his contribution to the game.
