Shardul Thakur, the Indian all-rounder, got married to his sweetheart, Mittali Parulkar, on Monday (February 27) in Mumbai. He has become the third mainstream Indian cricketer to tie the knot this year, after KL Rahul and Axar Patel.
Both his current IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and his former team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), shared pictures from the wedding on their official social media handles, confirming the happy news.
Shardul and Mittali have been dating each other for a long time and finally got engaged in November 2021.

Shardul Thakur, who was last seen in action during the third T20I match against West Indies earlier this month, will be playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders jersey in the next edition of the Indian Premier League. This league will be Thakur's KKR debut after being traded from Delhi Capitals during the trade window for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer made a comeback to the Indian side during the second Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, showcasing his skills in both domestic and international cricket.
