Sanju Samson Answers Fan's Phone During Selfie Moment

Sanju Samson's popularity as an Indian cricketer has been on the rise ever since his comeback to the national team in 2019. His fans adore him and he never fails to amaze them with his performances both on and off the field.
Recently, the Rajasthan Royals' captain had a selfie session with his fans before their match against the Chennai Super Kings. During the session, Samson answered a fan's phone call and greeted the caller with a cheerful "Bhaiya kya haal hai?".
The video of Samson's reaction went viral on social media, with fans lauding him for his down-to-earth personality and approachability. It just goes to show that even the smallest of gestures can make a big impact on people's lives.
How RR and CSK Started the Match
The Rajasthan Royals recently played their second game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, after playing their first two home matches in Guwahati. They suffered a defeat in their first match in Jaipur, but are determined to make a comeback.
In their match against the Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat first. They got off to a flying start and breached the 50-run mark within five overs. However, they were without the services of Trent Boult due to a niggle, and he was replaced by Adam Zampa.
Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, were unchanged for the fixture.
With Sanju Samson leading the charge, the Rajasthan Royals will be hoping to put up a good total and defend it successfully against the strong Chennai Super Kings lineup. As always, the fans will be cheering them on every step of the way.
Highlights and Results of the Match
Jaiswal was the star performer of the day, scoring his third fifty of the tournament. He started aggressively and hit boundaries all around the ground, targeting Akash Singh in particular. He raced to his half-century in just 26 balls, with Jos Buttler joining in and the two stitching an 86-run opening stand before Buttler got out.
Jaiswal continued to dominate the CSK bowlers even after Buttler and Sanju Samson departed, and was eventually awarded the Player of the Match for his performance. He scored 77 runs, hitting eight fours and four sixes.
In addition to Jaiswal, RR's spinners played a key role in choking CSK. Samson's decision to bowl spin from both ends proved to be a game-changer. Zampa dismissed Gaikwad, while Ashwin got two wickets. Dube's half-century gave CSK hope, but they couldn't win. After Jaiswal's wicket, CSK bowlers restricted boundaries and fashioned a mini-batting collapse. Deshpande dismissed Samson and Jaiswal in his second spell.
Following the match, Jaiswal expressed his delight with his performance and playing alongside Buttler by saying, "I am enjoying playing with Jos Buttler. It's not a secret, I just love playing proper cricket shots and maintaining a high tempo."
All in all, it was a fantastic performance from the Rajasthan Royals, and with their top-order batsmen firing on all cylinders, they will be a tough team to beat in the upcoming matches of the IPL.
