MS Dhoni Unveils Poster For His Production

The Indian cricket superstar and former captain of the Indian cricket team, M.S. Dhoni, is set to debut as a film producer with his upcoming Tamil film project 'LGM' (short for 'Let's Get Married'). This exciting project has been conceptualized by his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, and is expected to be a family entertainer packed with fun and emotion.

The first-look poster of the movie has recently been released, and already it's generating a lot of excitement among fans. The poster features Harish Kalyan and Ivana, the lead actors of the movie, locked in a wedding ring with veteran actress Nadiya, indicating a clash of emotions in the film. Ramesh Thamilmani is directing the film and also composing the music.

Dhoni's fans are thrilled about his debut as a film producer and are anticipating the release of 'LGM'. The first-look poster has since gone viral on social media, creating buzz and excitement for the upcoming movie.

The Film's First Announcement

It was in January that Dhoni announced the film under his production house Dhoni Entertainments. Despite rumors suggesting a collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay, young actor Harish Kalyan will take on the lead role. The film's launch was at a formal Puja ceremony, attended by Dhoni's wife, Sakshi Dhoni, the cast, and the crew.

The first look at the film showed a caravan on a forested road, hinting at a road trip, beach, and adventure.

In addition to Harish Kalyan, Ivana, and veteran actress Nadiya, the film will feature veteran actor Yogi Babu with Vishwajith as cinematographer.

As the captain of Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni enjoys support from Tamil Nadu and hopes to strengthen this relationship further by producing his first Tamil film.

What is Dhoni Entertainment?

For those unaware, MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi jointly own a production house called 'Dhoni Entertainment'. The production house has produced many small-scale films, including 'Roar of the Lion', 'Blaze to Glory' and 'The Hidden Hindu'.

One of the productions, 'Roar of the Lion', tells the story of the Chennai Super Kings' comeback to the Indian Premier League after a two-year hiatus. Meanwhile, 'The Hidden Hindu' is a film based on Akshat Gupta's mythological thriller that narrates the story of the Indian cricket team's victorious campaign at the 2011 World Cup, famously known as 'The Blaze to Glory 2011'.

'LGMs' Status So Far

'LGM' is currently being shot in various locations at a brisk pace, and the entire filming is expected to be wrapped up soon. Fans can expect the release date announcement in the coming months. The film also features Yogi Babu and R.J. Vijay in important roles.

As fans eagerly await the release of 'LGM', Dhoni is also focused on the Indian Premier League (IPL). As of April 12, Dhoni made history as the first player to captain 200 matches in the IPL. Currently, the team is preparing for a clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 21.

From the look of things, Dhoni's second innings in the entertainment industry will be just as successful and exciting as his first innings in cricket.
