Mexico Fans Expresses Extreme Upset Over Mexico’s World Cup Elimination

Getting your favorite team eliminated from the World Cup can be upsetting for any fan, but one fan takes out his frustrations in an extreme way.

Following Mexico's exit from the World Cup, a Twitter video shows one Mexico fan was more than upset. The footage showed him smashing his TV screen with a flurry of punches before, for an unknown reason, taking a knife to it in a blind rage. After this flurry of emotions, the fan simply walks away.

Mexico's elimination was due to a goal difference as Salem Al Dawsari scored for Saudi Arabia in stoppage time. This, by far, was Mexico's worst showing since their elimination from the 1978 tournament.

In addition to fans being upset with Mexico's elimination, it was announced that manager Gerardo 'Tata' Martino's contract had been terminated.
