LSG Shares Hilarious Pool Falling Scene

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is in full swing, and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are riding high on their success. With six points from four games, they currently sit at the top of the points table. But what’s even more impressive is the mood in the LSG camp – it’s nothing short of electric!

LSG’s players are currently taking a well-deserved break, and they seem to be enjoying it to the fullest. Recently, a video was posted on LSG’s social media handles, featuring all-rounder Krunal Pandya and wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran having a playful banter at a poolside in their team hotel.

In the video, Krunal can be seen playfully pushing Pooran into the pool, causing the latter to start swimming. In a hilarious turn of events, Pooran decided to take sweet revenge by throwing his drenched banyan at Krunal, hitting him on the back. The video has since gone viral and has garnered over 30K views, along with several funny comments from fans.

LSG's IPL Performance

But it's not just fun and games for LSG. Pooran was instrumental in their victory against RCB. Chasing a target of 213, LSG was struggling at 105/5 in the 12th over when Pooran came to the party. He played a blistering innings of 62 runs in just 19 balls, hitting 7 sixes and 4 fours.

Although Pooran got out in the 17th over, his contribution brought LSG back into the game.

Pooran's display of power-hitting and quick hands completely overshadowed some stellar batting performances from the opposition. Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell all hit half-centuries for RCB.

RCB made a comeback after his dismissal, and the game went down to the final over. Harshal Patel missed a crucial opportunity to run out non-striker Ravi Bishnoi on the final delivery, which ultimately led to LSG's win.

LSG's Status

The LSG team's bond off the field seems to be translating into better performances on it. The players are not only playing for themselves but for each other, and this camaraderie is sure to give them the edge they need to succeed in the IPL.

LSG has won three out of four matches and is currently sitting at the top of the IPL points table under the captaincy of KL Rahul. Their only defeat of the season came against Chennai Super Kings. On the other hand, RCB has only won one out of three matches and is placed in the seventh spot.

Following their latest match, LSG received plenty of praise for their performance. Among them, Eoin Morgan, England's World Cup-winning captain, was all praise for Pooran's performance. "To watch him in full flow is an absolute pleasure. Tonight, he got huge rewards at this ground," Morgan said.

The Lucknow Super Giants have a few exciting matches lined up in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. On April 15th, they are set to take on Punjab Kings at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Four days later, on April 19th, they will face the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
