Kane Williamson Saves T20I Series Trophy During Photoshoot

New Zealand and India may not have made the T20 World Cup 2022 Finals but fans can look forward to them squaring off in a bilateral series. Before the start of the 3-match T20I series between New Zealand and India, the teams’ captains had a customary photo shoot.

While Kane Williamson and stand-in captain Hardik Pandya were getting ready for their photo with the trophy, the videographers captured an unexpected scene. There were heavy winds during the photoshoot and when a strong breeze was about to knock the trophy from its podium, Williamson’s quick reflexes saved it.

The moment was shared on the official Twitter account of 'Blackcaps' and has since gained over a million views.

India currently leads the series 1-0 after the first match was abandoned due to rain.
