Indian cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues, celebrated not just for her batting prowess but also for her musical talents, delighted her fans once again with a mesmerizing rendition of a hit retro Bollywood song. On a pleasant Monday, July 24, shortly after India's victorious tour of Bangladesh, the 22-year-old sensation took to her Instagram to showcase her singing talent.

In the heartwarming video shared on her social media, Jemimah can be seen wearing a crisp white shirt, exuding confidence and charm as she sang 'Jab Koi Baat,' originally sung by the legendary Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam. The youngster's melodious voice reverberated through the screen, captivating her followers and fellow cricketers alike.

Among those moved by her performance was none other than her teammate Sushma Verma, who dropped a heart emoji as a token of appreciation for Jemimah's musical flair.

For those unaware, Jemimah's love for music has been evident from her frequent social media posts. The Mumbai-born cricketer has been spotted many times singing and playing the guitar, effortlessly entertaining her fans. Her musical talents beautifully complement her cricketing prowess, making her one of the brightest stars in women's cricket today.

Notably, this is not the first time Jemimah Rodrigues has mesmerized fans with her singing skills. Last October, during her stint with the Melbourne Stars in the Women's Big Bash League in Australia, a viral video showed her leading her teammates in a rendition of the soul-stirring Bollywood song 'Channa Mereya,' originally sung by Arijit Singh. The video was heartwarmingly shared on her and the Melbourne Stars' Instagram handles, revealing her ability to unite her teammates with her musicality.

In terms of cricketing achievements, Jemimah has amassed an impressive record. She is currently the fourth-highest run-getter for India in T20 Internationals, having accumulated a remarkable 1751 runs in 83 matches, with an impressive tally of 10 half-centuries. Her position on the list puts her behind cricketing stalwarts like Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana, and Harmanpreet Kaur.

During the recent Bangladesh tour, Jemimah Rodrigues established herself as the highest run-scorer for India Women in One Day Internationals. In the three ODIs played, she amassed 129 runs at a staggering average of 64.50, showcasing her consistency and adaptability to different formats of the game. Not to be confined to her batting skills alone, Jemimah also proved her mettle as an all-rounder, contributing with the ball as well by taking four wickets in the ODI series.

One of her standout performances came in a thrilling ODI where her all-round brilliance (86 runs and 4/3) played a pivotal role in India Women leveling the series 1-1, with the third game ending in a nail-biting tie.

While Jemimah's prowess in ODIs shone brightly, her T20I performance during the same tour was relatively subdued, with scores of eight, 28, and 10 in the three games. Nevertheless, she managed to contribute with the ball, scalping a crucial wicket to aid India in securing a 2-1 victory in the T20I series.

Beyond international cricket, Jemimah Rodrigues had the opportunity to represent the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) season. The talented batter showcased her skills with the bat, amassing 126 runs in nine games, helping her team reach the final. Although DC faced a setback in the summit clash and ultimately lost to the Mumbai Indians, Jemimah's performances were lauded by fans and experts alike.
