The Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to bring back its popular IPL Fan Park, which had to be put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Fan Park is a fantastic event that offers live screenings of IPL matches and a range of fun activities for cricket fans to enjoy. It was first launched in 2015 and ran until 2019, but this year, it will be even bigger and better!


The IPL Fan Park will be hosted in 20 Indian states and 2 Union Territories, with 45 cities across the country set to get involved in the fun. The first Fan Park will be hosted in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, on the first day of the IPL 2023.


"The TATA IPL Fan Parks will be spread across 45 cities - Surat, Madurai, Kota, Hubli, Dehradun, to name a few - and over 20 States and 2 Union Territories this season. It promises to offer an exciting and entertaining community-viewing experience for cricket fans across various regions of the country. Every weekend - throughout the tournament - there will be five fan parks," stated the official IPL website.

How Will the Fan Parks Work?


The Fan Parks will be organized every weekend throughout the tournament, and there will be five Fan Parks in different cities each weekend. With such widespread coverage, fans from different regions of the country can enjoy the action and support their favorite teams.


The IPL Fan Parks provide an immersive and interactive experience, allowing fans to celebrate the tournament's spirit while engaging with like-minded people. It's a unique community-viewing experience that you won't get anywhere else.


Other Entertainment to Find in the IPL

While the IPL Fan Park will bring plenty of fun experiences for fans, there is also plenty of entertainment that will happen in the IPL opening ceremony.


While the official list of performers is yet to be released, reports suggest that Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon, and Katrina Kaif are expected to grace the stage. Other rumored performers include Tiger Shroff, Arijit Singh, and Rashmika Mandhanna. In previous years, the likes of Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon, and Varun Dhawan have also been a part of the TATA IPL Opening ceremony.


The ceremony will feature a combination of cultural performances, songs, and dances that are sure to entertain cricket fans worldwide. It is a ground display that will add to the excitement and fervor of the cricketing event.


The TATA IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony is set to begin at 6:30 pm Indian Standard Time, with the match starting at 7:30 pm Indian Standard Time. Fans can catch the ceremony on Star Sports and live streaming on Jio Cinema.


This Friday, March 31, will see Chennai Super Kings go head-to-head with Gujarat Titans, and the first Fan Park of the season will be held in Madurai. Each week, the Fan Park will move to a new city, and on the day of the Final, May 28, there will be a whopping five Fan Parks to choose from.
