Injuries Cost Several Big Names the Qatar 2022 World Cup
Plenty of players have missed their shot at the 2022 World Cup because of different injuries. As the first World Cup match draws nearer the list of injured players grows. The latest addition to the list is France midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba is not the only player from the France team who is set to miss the World Cup. Central midfielder N’Golo Kante is also out of the tournament after sustaining a hamstring injury. Other recently injured players include Uruguay centre-back Ronald Araujo and Portugal’s forward Diogo Jota.
As for England, there are injury concerns over Kyle Walker, Recee James, Kalvin Philips and Emile Smith Rowe. Bukayo Saka faces a late fitness test to see if he can make the trip to Qatar.
