Hasan Ali's Funny Jump Attempt Amuses Fans

Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali may not be a regular in the national team of late due to a dip in his performances, but he sure knows how to entertain both on and off the field.

In a recent Pakistan Super League (PSL) match, Hasan attempted to surprise his teammate Azam Khan by jumping and sitting over his shoulder. However, things didn't go as planned, and Hasan ended up falling to the ground. The hilarious video of the incident has since gone viral, leaving Azam in splits.

While Hasan's on-field performance might have been less than impressive, he still managed to keep the atmosphere light around him. Fans can't get enough of his antics, and one fan even suggested a petition for Hasan to play every day in the PSL just because of the entertainment he provides.

What Happened in the Match

In the match, Islamabad United continued their impressive run by beating the Quetta Gladiators and sealing their spot in the playoffs.

Earlier in the match, Mubasir Khan took a stunning catch at the boundary to dismiss Quetta's skipper Sarfaraz Khan. The catch left the fans awestruck, and Hasan Ali was seen pumping Mubasir up after the attempt.

Colin Munro starred for the Islamabad side with a quickfire 63 before Azam, and Faheem Ashraf contributed with crucial cameos of 35 and 39* respectively, to take their side home. The Gladiators, on the other hand, became the first team to be eliminated, having lost six out of eight games they played.

While the focus might have been on Hasan's hilarious fall, it's important to note that Islamabad United's victory was no laughing matter. The Men in Red have won five out of eight games and are presenting as strong contenders for the PSL title this season.

The playoffs promise to be a thrilling affair; with Hasan around, fans can expect plenty of entertainment both on and off the field.

Other Moments Caught in the PSL

The hilarious jump attempt was not the only light-hearted moment caught on camera in the PSL. In another match, Lahore Qalandars beat Multan Sultans by 21 runs. Sam Billings and Abdullah Shafique smashed 54 and 48 runs, respectively, to help Qalandars post a total of 180/9 in 20 overs. Rashid Khan took a three-wicket haul, and the Sultans were restricted to 159/7 in their chase.

Apart from the high-scoring match, the fans also witnessed a heart-warming moment of sportsmanship. During the fifth over of Sultan's chase, pacer Haris Rauf's delivery hit rival skipper Mohammad Rizwan's elbow, and he had to let go of his bat. Writhing in pain, Rizwan completed a single with a lot of difficulties.

In a show of compassion, Qalandars skipper Shaheen Afridi came forward and tried to console Rizwan, who looked visibly hurt. While Rizwan tried to convince the pacer that he was fine, Shaheen gestured toward the dugout, asking for medical help.

The PSL matches have not only been entertaining but have also shown the true spirit of sportsmanship. With more matches to come, fans can expect more thrilling performances and moments of camaraderie.
