England and India Semi-Final Preview
England scrambles to prepare for their semi-final match against India. After losing key player Dawid Malan to injury and with star duo Mark Wood and Dawid Malan under a fitness review, things are looking rough for the team.
When questioned about the duo, England’s Captain, Jos Buttler stated, "We will give as long as we can with those guys but we have 15 guys preparing to play."
While things are currently tight for England, they managed to get through hard times before. After losing to Ireland by 5-runs and had their match against Australia abandoned due to rain, England managed to snag a spot a semi-final spot with wins over New Zealand, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
India on the other hand only lost to South Africa and defeated Zimbabwe by 71-runs to seal top spot in Group 2. Virat Kohli is having a tournament to remember and currently is the player with most runs and best batting percentage.
Regardless of England’s injuries this semi-final will be one that fans would not want to miss. The match will take place on November 10 at the Adelaide Oval.
