Details and Schedules are Launched for the Pro Kabaddi 2022 Ninth Season


It’s official, the biggest Kabaddi tournament in the world launches its return for its 9th season on October 7 in Bengaluru. There are 12 teams confirmed for the Pro Kabaddi League. Among them are the defending champions Dapang Delhi. The team will be part of the opening fixture and going against the former champions, U Mamba. There are 66 matches confirmed for the first phase and the three main venues for the games are Hyderabad, Pune, and Bengaluru.


Some of the teams you can see play during these matches include the Bengaluru Bulls, Patna Pirates, and Telugu Titans. Among them, you will see the inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers go head to head against the UP Yoddhas team in the third game of the opening day. To add to the hype of the new season, fans have a chance to witness games live after three years.



While there is plenty of confirmation for the first phase of the league, not much is said about the second phase of the league. Aside from the confirmation that it will be held by Pune starting October 27, full details for the 2nd phase will be revealed later on in the month. While there are no complete details on the games, there is plenty for fans to look forward to.
