Christian Pulisic Gives an Update From the Hospital After USA's Win Against Iran

After USA's win against Iran, Christian Pulisic shared a photo from the hospital with the caption, 'So f***** proud of my guys! I'll be ready Saturday, don't worry."

The photo, which showed the player fist-pumping with a smile, assured plenty of fans that he was doing fine. However, US coach Berhalter has not confirmed any update on the status of the Chelsea winger for future matches. In one interview, the coach stated, "He was taken to the hospital as a precaution."

Pulisic was taken to the hospital during half-time after scoring the winning goal and securing the team's progression to the last-16. It was confirmed on Tuesday that the player sustained a pelvic contusion.

When asked about Pulisic, midfielder Tyler Adams stated, "[He's a] huge player for us, obviously. Praying for him, hoping everything is OK."

After this win, it will be the third time in four World Cups that the US made it through to the last-16.

With no confirmation on Pulisic's status, however, it will be a tough match against Netherlands (who finished top of Group A ahead of Senegal) on Saturday.
