Cameron Devlin Gets Lionel Messi's Shirt After Argentina's Knockout Win

In the aftermath of the Argentina VS Australia match, Socceroos midfielder Cameron Devlin secured a highly valued memento when exiting the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.
Cameron Devlin was an unused substitute for Australia who managed to get Lionel Messi’s shirt. The moment was captured and shared on Twitter and has since gotten over 200 thousand views.
The footage showed Messi picking up the Player of the Match award and heading towards the dressing room, only to stop. He’s shown exchanging words with someone out of shot then the Argentina skipper proceeds to remove his shirt. The camera then pans to show Devlin, who shakes hands with the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner before the players exchange match shirts and go their separate ways.
Messi’s jersey could be a real collector’s item following the Argentina VS Australia knockout round match. During the match, Messi scored his first ever goal in a World Cup knockout and the 789th goal in his 1,000th career appearance.
In addition to this record, the jersey could be extra valuable as the last Argentina shirt Messi ever wears in the World Cup should the team lose against the Netherlands in the quarter-finals on Friday.
