Arsenal Shares a Clip of Kim Kardashian
Arsenal Football Club recently had a very special guest at their stadium – none other than reality TV queen Kim Kardashian and her son Saint West.
Recently, the Kardashian has been making headlines in the football community for a phenomenon called, the Kim Kardashian curse. The speculation began when Kim attended Arsenal's Europa League match against Sporting CP, and the Gunners lost on penalties.
Aside from this, Kim and her son have been making quite the impression during their stadium visits, with Saint even getting the chance to FaceTime injured Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar during a match.
Earlier, she was spotted at a French league game between Paris Saint Germain and Rennes. Then she turned up at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium to watch the team play Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League last-16.
A Gift for Kim
Accompanied by her son, who is a huge Arsenal fan, Kim was given a warm welcome by the team's striker Eddie Nketiah, who presented her with a shirt with 'Kardashian 1' on the back.
Nketiah is currently nursing an injury and will not be involved in international football during the break. However, he is expected to make a return to the Arsenal team after the international break.
The London-born forward is yet to make a decision regarding his international future, having represented England at the youth level. Nonetheless, the player's focus is on helping Arsenal secure their first Premier League title since 2004.
It's not the first time Saint has shown his support for Arsenal – he was even spotted wearing one of their strips earlier this year at his sister Chicago's birthday party.
However, some fans have joked that the gesture could result in bad luck for the club, with one saying "Well there goes the league" and another commenting "This is how Arsenal’s season is going to be derailed. Bad things happen to athletes who get around Kardashians."
Despite the excitement of the occasion, it was a disappointing night for Arsenal, as they lost on penalties following a 1-1 draw. But Kim and Saint didn't let that spoil their fun, and they were seen cheering on the team throughout the match.
Kim shared the experience with her millions of Instagram followers, giving them a sneak peek of the Emirates Stadium and the merchandise on offer. She even joked that she needed their help as she prepared to watch the game.
Despite the lighthearted fears of some Arsenal supporters, Kim and Saint have been enjoying their recent football stadium visits, which also included a trip to Paris to watch PSG lose at home to Rennes.
During her stay in North London, Kim even managed to meet up with former Tottenham and England star Dele Alli, further stoking the speculation that her presence may be affecting the fortunes of the teams she supports.
On Arsenal's end, they are currently preparing for a Premier League match against Leeds United on April 1.
